Cookie policy

Needed for the site to work

• Session (__Host-vega-auth…): keeps you signed in. It lasts until you close your browser, or longer if you ticked “Remember me”.
• Sign-in return (__Host-vega-oauth-locale, __Host-vega-oauth-next): brings you back to the right page and language after signing in with Google or GitHub; deleted right after.
• Language (NEXT_LOCALE): remembers your chosen language for the visit.
• Your cookie choice (__Host-vega-consent): remembers “Accept” or “Decline” for 6 months.
• Anti-bot: on the sign-up, sign-in and contact forms, Cloudflare Turnstile runs to block bots; it’s never used for advertising.

Audience measurement

• vega_visitor: a random visit identifier, kept for 30 days, to count visits and see which page led to a sign-up. Set only if you accept; deleted if you decline. The data stays with Vega.

Browser local storage

• A device identifier, to limit the creation of free accounts in bulk.
• Your request and code drafts, so nothing is lost if the page closes.
• Your display preferences (read messages, closed cards).

Staying in control

You can change your mind at any time with the “Change my cookie choice” button below, or clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Without session cookies, you can’t stay signed in. Payment happens on Stripe’s pages, which have their own cookies.
